Portalview vs Buildxact
Buildxact is Australian estimating and job management software with a client portal on every plan. Portalview is only the client portal, set up on top of the tools you already use.
Do you want new job software, or just a portal?
If you're happy to run your estimating and quoting in Buildxact, its Foundation plan includes a client portal from $199 a month. If you'd rather keep your current tools and just give clients a portal, that's what Portalview does.

It depends on what you want to change.
Buildxact may suit you if
- You want one system for estimating and quoting, and job management on Pro
- You're ready to move your team's work into new software
- You'd use the platform's other features, not just the portal
Portalview may suit you if
- You're happy with how you estimate and run jobs now
- You want a portal without retraining the office and supervisors
- You want it set up for you, branded as your business
If you already use Buildxact and its client portal, you may not need Portalview at all. Portalview suits builders who don't want to change their systems just to give clients a portal.
